SOA Strategy and Roadmap  

Each client’s requirements differ in several ways, and so must be their approach to adoption of SOA. For many, it is not easy to determine where to begin, what should be the roadmap, and how to measure success during implementation cycle. Styrone Inc offers Strategy services. We work with internal client resources to come up with a robust document providing a clear roadmap and advice. Our strategic services also extend to those corporations that have attempted SOA implementations in some form or shape, but are frustrated for the lack of tangible benefits.

As a part of strategy and roadmap development, if required, we also undertake demo or a quick Proof-of-Concept implementations. Typically, engagement for Strategy Services can span from few days to few weeks, and we typically perform the following :

  • Interactions with client’s stake-holders and technical team to understand the client's needs, priorities and available resources. We also capture details regarding their current IT investments, planned IT investments, business directions, competitive landscape, etc.
  • Proof-of-concept, if and where required
  • Prepare a high-level document that outlines –

    - Enterprise SOA vision
    - Services based Business Architecture
    - Solution approach, high-level roadmap, periodic checks and guidance
